Pics
Yes I am a blog slacker!!!
I am very naughty for not posting in such a long time. Jessica thanks for reminding me again!! You can see why I never had a diary, I would start it, I would post for a week, and then would forget all about it!
I can't believe it, but I will be 16 weeks in 2 days! 170ish days to go.
I have to have a blood test next week to check for all these yucky things, HIV, HEP B, HEP C, Syphllis, Spina bifida etc I am such a worry wart, I think what if I have something and don't know it?? I am sure they will be taking lots of vials of my blood, I should be use to it by now I guess!
Belly is getting bigger, people comment that I look much bigger than I am, oh well, hope I don't grow to much for a little while. I have taken some pics, but I think I look fat rather than pregnant, so decided not to post one until I clearly look PG!! Vain of me I know he he he ...
Work is getting really busy, for the next release of our project, so the long hours are about to start, I don't know how I am going to handle it, I am so tired by the afternoons, 12 hour days just don't appeal to me!! I have to think that hopefully i will no longer be working after September, as I should be getting retrenched! YAY! (retrenchment is when you are no longer required for your job, so they finish you up, with a huge payout (5 weeks pay for the 1st year of work, and 3 weeks for every year after that you have worked for them, plus any annual leave and Long service leave (after working 10 years for a company they give you a weeks leave every you have worked for them, on top of your normal 4 weeks leave a year)) So, I have been there nearly 14 years, so I will get approx. $80K (AUD) after tax! :o) You can see why I want it know, it will set us up financially for me not to have to go back to work, other than working for Mark for quite a while!
I have been a bit teary the last few weeks, guess it is pregnancy hormones! ! I had a huge fight with Mark last week, I felt like he was not supporting me at all in this pregnancy. He is not one to every give sympathy, it is just how he is, I am use to that, but I do need support. A "how are you feeling?" would not hurt occassionally! Anyway, I had it out with him, had a cry, and he has been better. Sometimes he just needs a whack in the head! LOL I don't think he had the bond I have with the baby that I have. I love it, and feel protective for it already, I don't think he feels that way yet. Hopefully once he feels it move, he will develop that bond.
I think I may have started to feel it move, but will give it a few more weeks to really believe it is my little bub kicking!
Having a quiet weekend this weekend. So better go and start enjoying it.
Jess - a big kiss to ME, and hope she is back to her normal self soon!!
Over and out for now ...
I will try and be a better poster! oh, and here is the last scan, I am sure most of you have seen it, but thought I would post it here!

I am in LOVE!

Yesterday was scan number 2, and we got to see a healthy little bub, measuring right on track. I was so relieved to see the heart beating away fast. We could see it's little arm and leg buds, the umbilical cord. It even did a bit of moving for us. I am in love ......
It is amazing how you can love something so much, and we haven't even met.
I asked DH if it made it more real for him now that he has seen it moving, and it's heart beating. He said 'It will make it more real for me when I see HIS head come out!' *rolling eyes* Men!! 10 more weeks till we find out if he will be having his much wanted Son. I am sure he will love a girl as much, and is stirring me more than anything, as I have seen him with his neice, he is putty in her hands LOL He is a blokey bloke though, so I am know he will be much more suited to having a Son. Me ... I don't mind, either way. I just want to be a Mum to a healthy baby!
As for me, I have been feeling remarkably well. Morning sickness seems to have gone about 2 weeks ago. Only symptoms seem to be a bit of heartburn occassionally, and a growing belly. I seem to have popped, and am carrying high. All my clothes are tight, and I am not sure how much longer I can get away with wearing normal clothes. Some of them have already been religated to the spare room closet.
I am finding it increasingly hard to concerntrate on work, luckily things have been pretty quiet for me. I am working from home again on Monday, as I have my 1st doctors appointment. I have officially graduated from my Fertility Clinic to my OBGYN after yesterday's scan! YAY!
It is our 3rd wedding anniversary in a few weeks, and I think DH and I might get away for a night and spend it in a swanky hotel in Sydney. Not that Sydney City is far away, but it is nice to be a tourist in your own City sometimes. Might be nice to have DH and I time for a weekend, since I think he has been feeling a bit neglected lately. He has had a lot on at work as well, so it makes it hard to spend time together.
I asked DH on the weekend if I was going to get something for Mother's Day this year (14th May) He said I am not a mother yet. HUH?? I think I am a mother to this child inside of me! He said that he is not a father, until the baby is born. mmmmm My boy sure has some funny ideas. So I guess I won't be expecting breakfast in bed on the 14th!
215 days till I become a Mother *wink wink*
Over and out for today!
Ohhh nearly forgot, He is the latest scan for anyone who hasn't seen it!

Meet the Blob
On Jessica's urging .... here is Bub's first pic
<
6 Weeks 2 Days
I had a nice trip away over Easter, we drove about 4 hours north, and stayed in a Caravan Park with my parents, and DH of course. I was lovely weather. The night time trips to the ammenities block were not fun though!!!
I have been feeling great the last few days, mmmm can I hope the morning sickness is over yet??? Seems to good to be true!
Mark and I have been debating names, Girls name are easy, we will Be naming her Erin. Boys are a bit harder, he has some strange Irish names that he would like .... Finbar, Fergal .... AHHH Hope he doesn't get those naming forms before me!! Our top names are Cole, Liam, Declan, Eamon. I like Cole the best, I think it is very manly. Cole Thomas ...
I did a bit of cleaning of the bub's future room, Mark thinks I am crazy getting it organised already, I have waited so long for this, I think I have the right to get excited about it!
Ok, Over and out for today ....

We did it!!
It felt like I was never going to say this, but ........
WE ARE PREGNANT!
I sort of knew it on the weekend, but DH would not even discuss it until today's confirmation by blood test! My beta result was 677! I am only 16dpo! twins????
I just seem so unreal to me. I am sure it will sink in eventually, Hopefully after the U/S on 12th April, I will be 6w 3days by then, so hopefully we will see a heartbeat/s ;o)
It seems like from as young as I can remember I wanted to be a mother, it was ALWAYS my dream, and it has been such a struggle to get here. MY GOD, I am going to be someones mother! mmmm I think I had better sign off before I start crying (I am at work LOL)
A special thank you to all my old online friends; Michelle, Jess, Robyn, Jo, Alicia. You have all been along for my ride nearly from the beginning! Thank you! Love you all!

Are we there yet??
mmmm today was a tiring today.
I was awake at 5am with the dog barking, Mark slept through it as usual! I then couldn't get back to sleep, I had to be up at 5.50am anyway, to get to the Clinic, for my blood test and HCG booster, and be at work by 8.30am
Fortunately Sydney Buses were on time! (VERY UNUSUAL!) and all was done in time
I got my Progestrone Test back this afternoon, I Have definitely Ovulated! yay! It was 53.8. I did a bit of research, (As I do!) and found that a level over 20-25 indicates ovulations, so I have to be happy with that. :o)
I am absolutely exhausted today, don't know whether it is the long hours of late, I worked till 9pm Friday night, and all day Saturday, it was really stressed as well, it was the 3rd Release of our Project, and all the Managers were hoovering around all the time saying 'have you finished yet?' NO I WILL TELL YOU WHEN I HAVE FINISHED! I threatened my immediate boss with a sharp pencil if he didn't leave me alone, standing over me DOES NOT make me work faster LOL. I don't think all the hormones help the situation.
My boobs are killing me, it has been hard to sleep, cause I usually sleep on my side or front, and when I roll over, I squash my boobs, and they kill. I though the HCG would have been out of my system by Sunday (8 days since the trigger shot), Hoping it is a sign that I am pregnant, even if it probably is a little to early, the little eggie will probably only be nestling in now if it fertilised.
Ok, over and out fortonight, I think it will be an early one!

The Two week wait is slowly driving me crazy!
Everyone seems to have a blog these days, so why not me :o)
Ok, so I took my trigger shot on Saturday, after a whole month of FSH shot, varying from 50iu up until 108iu. My poor arm is enjoying the break from being jabbed every day!
I am such a worrier, so many things have been running through my head since Saturday ....

- Maybe the trigger won't work, and I won't Ovulate,
- Maybe DH and I should have BD in another position, LOL
- Maybe I should have had my legs in the air longer after BD LOL
- Maybe I have hostile mucus, and DH's boys are swimming nowhere
- If only we had BD Friday night as well .....
Gee I wish my mind would stop working for a second!
If my temp is up again tomorrow, I will get a Coverline which will confirm I ovulated on Monday, so about 48 hours after the trigger shot. I hope that both follies released, I am guessing they would have, as one was 15mm, the other 17mm.
I am going to attempt not to do a HPT until 26th March, most likely would be pointless before then, as I am having another trigger shot on Monday, and the HCG Would most likely still be in my system!
Ok, over and out for tonight ......
