Are we there yet?

3 days to due date, and 5 till induction date!

I am getting very frustrating at waiting, and guessing every twinge and ache! LOL I guess that is normal, but it doesn't make it easier!

I slept from 12am till about 8am (getting up every 2 hours of course!) Then went back to bed at 9.30am and slept till 1pm. I said to Mark, maybe my body is telling me I need my rest, and tonight will be the night! I think that was wishful thinking, as it is now 8pm, and still nothing!

Everytime I ring Mark he thinks it is 'the call' LOL

Off to eat some dinner, and more waiting!

I did it!

Passed my driving test! 1st go, I am pretty happy with that, as I have not really had much driving experience, even though I have had my learners permit since i was 17!

I know it will make a huge difference to my independence, especially with having a baby, and all the doctors appointments etc I will have to take him to! We will be free!

I will take myself off for a drive by myself tomorrow. I have not driven my car at all, and as it is a BMW, all the controls are on the left, so I need to get use to it.

Ok, I am ready for this little boy to be born now ....

12 Days and counting

Tomorrow is the 'big' driving test day! I had a lesson this morning, and will have another tomorrow morning before the test. I imagine I will be very nervous tomorrow! It might even send me in to labour! That would be fun during the test, having contractions!

Doctors appointment went well yesterday. The head has dropped a bit, and is getting closer to being engaged. The Doc is going to do an internal tomorrow, and if I am dilated, he said if I am keen, he is happy to book me in to be induced! I presume that would be later in the week.

WOW I could have a baby next week. That is freaky to think. I am not scared, more excited than anything.

Sorry Jess & Dawn, he won't be born on your birthday's, as it is already the 21st here! A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you both!

I am in the teens ....

19 days to go until I am full term!

I hope my little man comes before then! End of next week would be perfect I think. Like it can just request it and he will come LOL

Had a very uncomfortable night last night, and was up until 3am! I just could not get comfortale, I was tossing and turning, and decided it was probably better to just get out of bed and watch some TV.

His head is still not engaged! I guess he is not too keen to come in to the real world, quiet happy in his little cocoon.

Getting the waxing done, and hair done on Friday. I will also try to get a few more Christmas things done.

Christmas cards are nearly done! We have even finally agreed to the name, as he allowed me to write Rory on the cards! It was very strange signing the cards.

It has been warm the last few days, luckily I have been in the airconditioning, so haven't felt it too much.

36 Weeks

I had my 36 week appointment yesterday. After all my weekend of pelvic pressure and pain I was SURE I his head was engaged. LOL But nope, still high and floating! I just know he is going to be like his father, and will be late!

The Dr said IF his head engages by 38 weeks he will talk induction after 38 1/2 weeks, as he believes that is the magic number for babies lungs to be fully developed. If he has not engaged at 39 weeks, he said his head may be too big for my pelvis, and we can talk about c-section! I really hope he becomes engaged in the next week ..

Melbourne Cup today (A horse race that stops the nation here!) SO have been organising the sweep, Baby even has his first bet on :0) Just getting the TV Set up for all the guys to watch.

Having internet problems at home, so have been unable to get on net there, only at work.

33 days to go!

Can't believe how close we are now. Seems like only yesterday I got my BFP.

33 days give or take, and my little man will be here. It is still very surreal, and sometimes I still wake up and forget I am pregnant, until I try and get out of bed of course!

His nursery is nearly finished, I just need to go to Ikea to get some baskets for his book case. (So I can put all the lotions, potions etc in) I will take some more pics when that is done.

I bought my nappy bag on the weekend, and now have that packed and ready. I have everything I need for hospital. I just need another bag, as the one I have is way too small, and is just going to be my labour bag now. I am trying to find something matching, as that is just the way I am, and hate things unbalanced or not matching! Must be the Libra in me ;o)

We have had a lot going on the past week.

I have been very emotional, it hasn't helped having a ass for a husband! He has been having wisdom teeth problems since Wednesday last week, he got one out yesterday, and will hopefully have the other one sorted this Friday. He has been horribly cranky, and moody. Moaning, groaning and humming pain all night! He has been taking pain killers every 30 mins, which is not good! Anyway, he got a good sleep last night, and seems to be back to normal. I have had a lot of tears though, and nearly went and stayed with my Mum!

Mark's best friend and his wife had a little girl last Wednesday, Holly. She is a little cutie, and I am happy that our babies are going to be so close in age. I think it has made Mark more excited, as now P is a Dad, they will have something else to share together. So Rory has a little girlfriend before he is born LOL

I have had a stomach bug, which knocked me around for a few days, also, it is getting more and more uncomfortable to sleep. I was up every 2 hours last night for a toilet stop. I actually woke up and thought my waters had broken. Luckily no wet spot. I need another week to get myself organised before I will be happy for him to come, anytime after 36 weeks would be good!

I had my baby shower, which was nice, I got lots of nice pressies. Got my highchair, which was one of the big purchases we had not done (Not that we will need it for a while!) We got lots of rattles, toys for pram etc ....

I am having a driving lesson on Friday. No, I still don't have my licence, despite us buying me a car! Yes, I will have it hopefully by the time he is born. No public transport where we live, so it would be hard getting around with a newborn.
